My name is Anita Lindemann and I am the founder and creator of Green Being Eco Store
I live large in my small house on a big block in the Donnybrook/Balingup Shire WA.
It’s been my thoughtful decision to have less stuff, to live more simply and hopefully a little more sustainably. I stay fit by running in the bush with my dogs or enjoying the silence of longer distance ocean swimming. As I get older, I want to remain productive, mentally and emotionally well, continue to challenge myself and contribute to a greater good. I recycle, upcycle, sew, compost and reuse whenever I can.
I invested long ago in solar and have 45,000 litre rainwater tanks. All my water from the shower and washing machine goes straight onto the garden as Green Being Eco Store products are 100% biodegradable. My place also has a septic system; probably the best way to have you consider what goes down your drain as it stays on your property! I grow a few veges without sprays, have some chooks and between friends we swap and share some of our produce or give it away. I have lost count of the number of trees planted over 8 years.
I am far from perfect, but I strive to make conscious choices about where my stuff comes from, where it may end up, what I eat, how it is grown and the impact I have on the earth and others.
